You should just go for a great kiss anyway. Sometimes weird expectations or fears can get in the way. But one good smooch should either clear up the weirdness and make you laugh or ???...something!?

An electric charge is essential.

...either that, or lots and lots of cash.

I've wondered about things like that often. I have dated a number of pretty, smart, fun women. But there was nothing there. I would ask myself over and over, am I afraid of commitment? Am I too choosy?

When I met my wife, those questions left me quickly. I honestly believe, and have some data to support (if you are interested), that we can't help it. There are physical attractors that we respond to, and they may have nothing to do with what we have as a societal definition of beauty. It just happens sometime. We can choose to ignore them, and perhaps some people are successfull in doing that.

We are best to just go with the flow. If the flow is telling you no, then you don't go.

LOL.

anyway, don't feel bad. Just be honest to both of you. I know you will anyway.

Don't feel bad about it because he brought you flowers. Any decent guy should bring flowers to a first date, in my opinion. Maybe not roses or anything, but some type of flower. But maybe I'm just old fashioned.
