Something happened recently that made me hit an all time low in my life. Honest to goodness, I’ve never cried so much in my life. But they say time heals all wounds, and it’s true. Each day that passes is a little bit better. I’ve moved beyond hurt to anger. From anger I expect to move to indifference. And indifferent is where I hope I stay, at least in this situation.

And what about forgiveness?
Forgiveness isn’t an option for me at the moment.
It will come, in time.
Y’know, a good kick in a shin can help with the anger.
Just sayin’.
I hope I haven’t contributed to the situation you’re talking about. *I can be so clueless sometimes.* I love ya.
I would never want to see you in a world of indifference. When you are ablaze with passion, when your heart is stirred, when you are you, the world spins more vigorously, the sun is higher, hope is renewed. Don’t let anyone or anything take away your feelings. They are yours!
Just as you experience your life with you as the center of everything, others take actions and make decisions based on a similar perspective…from the center of their lives.
What sometimes feels like a deliberate attack against you is frequently just a thoughtless choice on their behalf. The easiest choice to satisfy their most immediate needs.
It doesn’t hurt any less. It is probably not their actions or thoughtlessness that hurts you, but the expectations you had that were not met.
Keeping this in mind, you might be able to curb your expectations until you are reasonably sure they will be met. This may help keep you from getting so hurt.
I am in full agreement with ‘J’ above. Indifference is not any kind of position you want to be in. That is food for depression and apathy. Your passions are the spice of your life. Wether it is anger, pain or happiness and pleasure, embrace who you are and what you feel and make the most of it.
*hug* <- these sometimes help
I’m guessing job related. Glad to have you back
Oh definitely not job related.
