My First Quilt, Among Other Things

I started my first quilt back in October. But I hadn’t worked on it at all since I moved Thanksgiving weekend because I had nowhere to put my sewing machine. That situation was remedied last weekend with the purchase of a small dining table that has been converted into my sewing table. So I finished my quilt top tonight. At least…I thought I did. After looking at it, I’ve decided I need to add two more rows. But here it is for your viewing pleasure:

quilt-top-1.jpgquilt-top-2.jpgIt’s currently 5 blocks by 5 blocks (each “block” is made up of 9 of the smaller squares). It really needs to be 5 blocks by 7 blocks. *sigh* I thought I was finished! Oh well… this weekend for sure.

In other news, while getting these pictures off of my camera, I realized that my pictures from Christmas were still on there! Want to know what an $1,100 Christmas tree looks like?

And of course… here’s the beautiful car that I got to drive while I was home. I didn’t want to give it back!

**I’m about to scream because of the formatting of this post. I can’t get that last paragraph to go UNDER the photograph instead of next to it. It looks right in my WYSIWYG editor, but when I look at the page…. *sigh*

    Your quilt is purdy. :)
Good job.  Mine would’ve been all cock-eyed.
