What a day…

I just spent three great hours at Jeanie’s house. She cooked me a fabulous dinner, and then we spent the rest of the evening just talking. It was fantastic. Apparantly, I’m too hard on myself and I’m a really good person. :) She has such a good heart – I love her to death!

Then, on the way home I turned my radio on. There were Christmas carols on! I was like wtf? It’s November 12th! The Christmas season doesn’t start until the day after Thanksgiving. Right?Right? So why the hell are Christmas carols on my radio now?

It’s just plain wrong. Wrong, I tell you!

  1. Man, I was craving some Christmas music today, but none of the stations will play it before Thanksgiving :-( Time to update the iPod…

  2. I had to speak last week to a group of mommies about the symbols of the season, so I went ahead and dragged out my CDS to get “in the mood.” They were sitting there in my family room last night. Ha!

I am ok with it. I am ready to hear it. Was this on Kosi-101 or what? C’mon girl – it’s Christmas everyday!

    btw, what does wtf mean? worse-than-failure? where’s-the-fire? women-talk-foreign? water-the-flowers? worship-the-Father?

    wth, indeed…behave yourself, girl! :)

  3. Hahah! You think that’s bad? They’ve had Christmas trees for sale at the store I shop in since JULY!! One of my friends said they put their tree up over Veterans Day! Good heavens! And to think that people in 1941 were going crazy over the week extension for the Christmas season. Seems like Christmas is all year ’round. Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad they are celebrating the birth of Christ, but as the same time, I don’t think most people are celebrating Christ!

It’s snowing where I am now, made me think of “It came upon a midnight clear…” am I as bad as these retailers?
