Obligatory 9/11 Post
Sep 11th, 2007 by Amanda
I don’t have much to say on the topic - it’s been overdone on most every blog out there. I don’t have any stories to tell of where I was (my dorm room sophomore year) or what I was doing (hoping classes would be canceled). What I do have is the knowledge that day changed America forever. It’s been 6 years, and this day still comes across as a sacred, revered day.
When will we get over it?
I don’t mean when will we get over the tragedy. We should never forget the events that happened that day. But when will we stop expecting the world to stop going round every September 11th?
And on that note, I want to point you to a non-9/11 post I read today…
