Torture, Murder, and Mayhem
Posted by Amanda on September 6th, 2007 . Filed under: Media and Culture .Amnesty International, “working to protect human rights worldwide,” has some very provocative ad campaigns around the world to bring awareness up a notch.
I like them. You can’t look at those ads and not come away moved (unless of course you’re the type of person who still claims the Holocaust never happened and won’t get your head out of the sand).
One thing I noticed though is that nearly all of these ads are from countries other than the US. I wonder why. I’d love to see some ads like these on the streets here.

can progressives and conservatives mutually agree that these issues are horrific and should be callled out in this fashion?
