We live in a time where there are two types of church signs: those that try to be thoughtful and those that are informational. Unfortunately, this attempt at humor doesn't seem to make it. I don't think this saying anything more about their theology than that they don't have a problem making light of serious things. Will it send someone away? Certainly possible-- but the worse effect will be on those that drive by and think that this is all Christianity is about. Well, it’s definitely an attempt at humor.
