I don’t think I’ve mentioned my love for Mary Katherine Ham lately. Now, don’t get me wrong–there are several things I disagree with her on, but she’s a strong conservative woman who isn’t afraid to speak out. Rock on!
This post on 7th Heaven and its recent politics is a good one. I used to love 7th Heaven. But since it switched to Sunday nights I can’t watch it anymore because that’s when my small group meets.

Sorry Amanda, but those brief exchanges in that episode do nothing to truly depict the horror in Darfur and the complete lack of concern from the international community, including America.
The fact of the matter is that Bush and Co. have spent hundreds of BILLIONS of dollars in Iraq- a mess of a war, while spending a measily 2 billion in Darfur. that’s pocket change.
Bush should be sticking his nose into issues that really matter. Going after non existent WMD’s was a waste of time, money and lives. Meanwhile, women in Darfur are being raped with KNIFES and GUNS daily by the hundreds.
Yeah, support the President, screw the people who really need our help and concern.
